The mug is ceramic and is fitted with a stainless steel universal infuser. A silicone wrap helps keep hands protected from the heat. The cover allows for protection and doubles as a coaster for the infuser. A nice investment and wonderful addition to the collection.

Our Take on Teaware
We're picky about our tea pots. We've tested many and very few make the cut in the TeaLab. One of our most favorite tea pots is the fabulously designed: iPot. No, this is not a new product from Apple, although we wouldn't put it past Steve Jobs. We totally sanction this tea pot along with the Universal Infuser and believe them to be the best investment you can make.
